Being someone's fiancee-to-be

Meow!! and now I'm meowing for the world to be announced that I have been "pinang" in which I don't know if  there is a term to be used to defining this word in English. But, yes. I have been-you-know-what-I've-told-you.

Syukur Alhamdulillah I am very thankful to Allah SWT for making everything seems so easy and it was great. Not great in a way that I have been "proposed" by the future-in-laws but it is great as everything went well more than my man and I have expected. So, yeah. and the funny thing is, on the next day my parent and I thought wanted to survey the dress for engagement, of course and so we went to the Jakel Mall which is located around Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Jln TAR). It was big! Haha and I feel like entering a World of Fabric that all you can see there are fabrics!!  (Well, mesti korang mcm duh, of course!! nama pun kedai kain, I know!!!) but for me the ones that rarely goes into places like this be like I think Im gonna puke after being dizzy surrounded by fabrics!! Haha And so.. yeah, we went to the bridal floor which was for the ready made wears section.

Okay, what I could tell you is that the readymade bridal wears has two types of design ; dress or baju kurung. The prices are depending on what you wanted to wear and the design and not forget to include your budget, ofc! As for me, I'm still a student and all I wanted is a simple-but-look-nice theme for this engagement and the same shall be applies on the wedding ceremony in future, insyallah. And so, I've decided to go for the baju kurung with a little detail on the edge of the sleeves and on the edge of the baju kurung itself. The details on the baju kurung is a French Lace with small beaded on it and actually this lace is heavier to be compared to the Korean Lace and the baju kurung that I've chosen was on discount for the stock  clearance sales which it was 60% of its normal price. From RM 1200 I did managed to saved about RM 300++ for the tailor. That saves us a lot, guys!!!

The tips of preparing for engagement ceremony (Majlis Pertunangan) For The-Future-Bride!
  1. Find the engagement attire that below you budget and not too wedding-like or else hilang seri awak satg! and MUST BE suit to your preference (on how you want it and such all)
    • Don't be the price tag hantu when all you do is looking at the tags comparing the value of money you'll have to spend! If it is cheap but it is below your satisfaction then, its WORTHLESS! REMEMBER TO SPEND ON THINGS THAT IS AFFORDALE AND SATISFIES YOU.
Choose something that you could recycle. In other words, something that you could wear after your wedding. Example: Attending a wedding ceremony and etc.
  2. Next is  to calculate the estimated people you would want them to attend your engagement. After  that then, you can already search the catering that affordable depending on your total of guest.
  3. And because usually during pinangan the estimated month of nikah is already set, and so sambil sambil tu dah boleh ricky dewan and package stuff like that. The reason is because, usually the dewan has to be booked a year before your wedding ceremony. Yesterday, I checked the dewan is all fully booked till next year on March, and so we decided to place our booking on the first May of 2017 which is on the Labour Day. Weeee~ heeee.

The feeling I had.

When I went back home and showed it to my brother and all, he asked me this "How do feel right now, kakak?" "What does it feels to be orang yang bakal berkahwin nanti"? If you ask me during my teen year, I would feel excited as hell but now it seems the excited is still there but it is more to confusing kind of excitement hahaha. Do you get meyh, people?! That is exactly how I feel now and yesterday. Anyway I know I shouldn't be to excited as this is like just a 25% process towards of our solemnization and I hope that everything will always be eased by Him and may we will always be safe from any kind of danger and harm by Him.

So long, guys!! See ya in the next round of blogs.
