Ollaa, guys! Assalamualaikum!! So, on this 2016, I am turning 21 years old this year. For a wide-imagination girl like me, there will always be a time where I would always forget that I am in the phase of adult-changing. And now I am doing my internship program for about 5 months in this big Oil and Gas Company in Kuala Lumpur and being here taught me how the real-life is actually like. I‘ve observed how to work in this new environment, observing the political issues here (which I can say it is pretty obvious and it is much worse than issues we have at school or college) sitting next to the backstabbers every day pretending that they’re okay with you just to save their butts, and I’ve learned on how not to go around and kacau orang!
Especially when it is office work where you will have to sit in front of the computer for 8 hours and seriously, it was a no-no for a person who doesn’t know how to duduk diam. That kind of person can be super-bored –to-death by just scrolling through the computer and get back home and then repeat. We as a student does not have the idea of working people are as we thought “Oh, penatnya baru balik kelas” while those working people are wayyyy more tiring than the students. Yelah, they have to wake up at dawn and then continue their work till Over Time sampai malam macam tu. Where is life, man!? Didn't you wanna enjoy your life as times are running too as you're being busy with your work!! Gosh, I don't know how they do that! The fun is gone hahaha. And now making me wanna continue my study ASAP! haha Why? It's because I think we still have the time of our own and some fun in studying. There's this huge difference.
You'll feel it one day. What makes it a big difference is that the when we working, of course, there will be income debited every month while instead lack in that part but they always have the extra special time where they can enjoy and having fun where you will not get that during you work-life in future Even a few told me already that “You must enjoy this period of time the moment where you must enjoy your time and it is shall be one of the greatest moment in your life as working life is a serious life where you will need to be more serious than you thought you should be”
And so, after listening to his advice I was like “I wonder if that true because I’ve been wanting this kind of life since I was a little girl. I feel scared, fear of not being good in being good enough; being a good adult, a good wife, to be a good worker in the future. I was so certain of my plans which is to continue my study and then work where I can make my own money, going to work, dressing up, buying stuff using my own money, buying cars and houses, sponsor the parent anything or a holiday for them and the list goes on and on.
Of course, hearing those piece of advice makes you feel scared because we are uncertain of what’s going to happen in the future but, I one thing that I believe that if we have faith in Him, in His planning, and insyallah we will be just fineeee, I hope so. Whatever it is, I am sure He will never neglect umatnya as long as we have faith in him and commit to him.
